I have done martial arts before and was a bit nervous starting a new club but I thoroughly enjoy it and look forward to attending each week. The classes are a mixture of ages and abilities and there are even separate kids and ladies only classes which is beneficial to those who prefer that.

It is truly a great way to get fit, one week is never the same and there are always new moves / techniques to learn and practice. I definitely feel more confident and stronger in my abilities at martial arts and have also met some great friends whilst training.

The club has a professional but informal approach so I am never scared to approach the instructors or ask if I am unsure about anything. Paul and Lauren are truly dedicated to this club and ensure everyone is treated with utmost respect.

I really enjoy coming to Ladies Only Kickboxing and Self Defence Training, every Tuesday evening. It's a fantastic opportunity for me to keep fit without feeling self-conscious or uncomfortable.

I enjoy the company of the other ladies in the group and have made some great friends. I feel a real achievement after every session and also enjoy the quality time for myself.

I had always wanted to try kickboxing, but I am not a fan of big class exercising, such as aerobics etc. My friend had been going to the ladies only class for a couple of weeks and told me to come along as the class sizes were not too big and the instructors were fab.

I have now been going to classes for around 5 months and I love it. It is great exercise, using my whole body and my fitness and flexibility has greatly improved. I was only interested in doing the class for fitness and weight loss but am now going for my yellow belt.

I cannot recommend these classes enough. All the instructors are friendly and encouraging, and I have a great friendship with all those I train with. - Aimee Redhead
